Austin Geist




Austin grew up in Gardner, Ks playing club soccer in Kansas City.  In High School, he played 4 years of Varsity for Andy Weber, a director at Toca. Austin was voted First Team All Region in his Junior and Senior high school seasons.
In college Austin played at MidAmerica Nazarene as a defender. In all four years at MNU, the team was able to win 2 conference championships, was never ranked outside of the Top 25 nationally, 4 straight appearances in the NAIA National Tournament, with a second place finish at nationals in 2015.  In his 4 years at MNU, Austin has grown in his faith by having his thoughts and beliefs challenged by friends and teammates from all across the world who have different beliefs.
Austin recently graduated from MNU in May with a degree in Organizational Leadership and will be working full time for Shamrock Trading Corporation in Overland Park.
He began his coaching career in his Freshman year of college coaching for the KC Legends working with 6-7 year olds in the futures program. Austin began coaching competitive soccer in his sophomore year of college.
He is incredibly excited to be joining Toca and impact kids in the most positive way possible. He loves the game of soccer and believes that this is the best way to be a role model and directly impact boys and girls positively
