With music playing, skills challenge booths, and other fun activities going on all the time, this tournament is geared for the whole family. It’s also a GREAT opportunity to give back to the community, through the canned food CHALLENGE! We are proud to announce that we will be back this year holding the games at the beautiful Celebration Park in Gardner, Kansas (32701 West 159th Street), where you will find some of the nicest grass soccer fields in the Kansas City area. Competitive and Recreational teams are both welcome!!

The tournament will be held May 31 – June 2 (Friday-Sunday)

Locations: Overland Park Soccer Complex and Olathe South high school.

Anyone wishing to tryout for Toca FC needs to register online.  There is no cost to register and no cost to tryout.   Once you are registered, prior to the tryout weekend, you will receive an email from Toca FC to give you more specifics. Check back here later for updated specifics on times/dates by age.

What age group can I tryout for? Players can not turn the year of the age group they are trying out for until after Aug. 1st.

Examples: If a player is 8 and turns 9 on Aug. 1st he would be a U9, because he turns 9 on or after Aug. 1st. If a player is 8 and turns 9 on July 30, he would be considered a U10, because he turns 9 before Aug. 1st.

Our community page is designed to help keep everyone updated on current projects, future projects and community activities.

Community and diversity go hand in hand for our club.  We don’t want to just “allow” diversity in our club, we want to seek out diversity. We have no desire to be a club that is segregated on color, economic class, social status, culture or country of origins.  We want our players to be exposed to a culturally diverse group of teammates.  Teams that are made up of complex and diverse groups of players challenge each other to grow and mature in unique ways.  Diversity is something we believe can be a powerful tool for teaching and developing the complete soccer player, as well as developing character.

We are currently working on a few different projects:

  • Free Inner City and Olathe based soccer camps
  • Inner City soccer development
  • Olathe Food Pantry can and coat donations
  • Street Soccer all over the city
  • 3v3 Summer Splash
  • Working with schools in disadvantaged communities
At Toca we have a passion to impact all kids, not just those that can “pay to play”.  We have a long-term goal of planting a soccer program in the KCK community. A program that will put roots in the community and work for the good of all the community, while provide hope and opportunity to the youth!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The U12 Toca FC USL and MLS helped at the Ridgeview Elementary “Trunk or Treat” event! They boys played soccer with the kids and handed out candy. Good times!

 HELP us break the world record!! 15ft of canned goods!!

All the canned goods will go to Olathe Food Pantry. It will be a competition between all the teams in the tournament!! The winner will receive the honor of bragging rights plus cool prizes!!

Parents and Players,

The Overland Park Soccer Complex starts their Spring practice schedule this week. We do not have field space. At this point there is not enough light to get through the schedule so we will wait for daylight savings time.

Speed & Agility training and Academy will resume on Tuesday, March 20th.  We will email a reminder and the schedule when we get closer.
