Spenser grew up playing competitive soccer in the Oklahoma City area where he led multiple teams to State Cup finals. His senior year of high school (06’) he led his high school team to the 6A State Final and was awarded Offensive MVP on the season. He was also selected as a 3x All Conference Player, 2x All Region Player, and 1x All State player. Spenser went on to play collegiately for California Baptist University (graduated ’10) where he started 61 games and was selected as an All Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) player in 2006. Spenser also spent time playing in the PDL (Premier Development League) during his summer’s in college.
Spenser coached for Arlington High School in Southern California upon graduating college helping the Lion’s to a quarterfinal run in CIF (California Interscholastic Federation). Currently, Spenser is the Assistant Coach for the men’s soccer program at Mid-America Nazarene University (MNU), where in his first year (’14) the Pioneers were ranked as high as #2 in the NAIA before finishing in the round of 16 at the NAIA National Tournament. Spenser is also currently pursuing his Masters of Art in Counseling at MNU.
