The Gap Between Rec. & Competitive

The Toca FC Developmental Teams are a great option for a player that is looking to prepare for competitive soccer and wants more than a recreational soccer experience. The program is for players 7 and under.

“We have felt for awhile now that there needed to be a better bridge between recreational programs and competitive programs. Our Toca FC Juniors program was 1st step towards helping to bridge the gap and Developmental Teams are the 2nd step. We are really excited about this program and we think both parents and kids are going to really enjoy it. We also think it’s going to significantly increase the technical quality of our club from the ground up. ” Alec Lemmon

Placement on Developmental Teams will happen during the Toca FC tryouts listed under the U7 (born 2011) time slot. U6 (born 2012) players looking for a more structured team environment are welcome to attend and be considered for placement on a Developmental Team. No cuts will be made. However, we will place kids according to their ability and may instead recommend for some players to begin their soccer journey in our Toca FC Juniors Program first, which is our entry level soccer program.
These Developmental Teams will be assigned a competitive coach to train them once a week and coach them for games. League games (7-8 games) will be against other clubs in the Kansas City area over the weekends. There will be 3 seasons: fall (8 games), winter (two sessions, 7-8 game each) and spring (8 games).  It is a per-season commitment, not a year long commitment, although we want to try to keep the core of the team together for the whole year.
Fall: $184.00
Winter: $306.00
Spring: $184.00
*Includes everything but the uniform costs.
Practice Location: TBA (Olathe area)
