Trent Remmich

Trent grew up playing soccer in Wichita, Kansas where he played for a few different clubs. He attended college at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) for four years, where he was a three-time First-team All-Conference player.  Trent set several records while he played at MNU including: goals in a single game (5), goals in a single season (26), and total goals scored (56). He was a critical leader and a captain his senior year for the team that finished 4th in the nation and helped make MNU’s first-ever final four appearance! Trent was voted MNU male athlete of the year his junior year. During his sophomore and junior year, Trent played in the Premier Development League (PDL) for the Kansas City Brass. Trent has also played with the KC Cyclones professional futsal team.
Trent has established himself as a respected coach in the KC youth soccer scene over the last 5 years.  He will bring a wealth of experience as a player and coach to our coaching staff at Toca.
“Growing up, my coaches were some of the most influential people in my life other than my parents. I truly looked up to and admired all of them. I was lucky enough to have amazing coaches throughout my life and I want to give some of that experience back to the youth in KC.  Toca is a perfect fit for me not just from a soccer standpoint point, but from a community standpoint as well. The family like atmosphere and close-knit group of coaches was extremely appealing to me and ultimately brought me over.” – Trent
