We treat our coaches very much like our players and parents, we embrace a culture of growth, not an expectation of perfection. We expect them to challenge themselves to be both the best possible coach and person they can possibly be. We expect there to be set-backs and steps forward during this process. Honesty, transparency and a humble teachable heart is what we want to see in our coaches. We encourage them to be courageous is sharing the truth with parents and players and to do that in love. We also encourage this type of communication across the organization from directors all the way to players and parents.
We want all our players to not just “like” our club, but to “love it.” As a club, our focus is on quality not quantity—we are not looking for just any family or any kid. We are looking for players and families that want to be a part of changing youth soccer. We want to see the whole club soccer system changed from the inside out. Joining Toca is like joining a family. We take care of you and you take responsibility and ownership at the club with us. While we want everyone to be a part of Toca, it is not for everyone. Sometimes players are not a good fit based on their playing experience, location or other reasons. However, we are more than willing to help you find a good fit. Youth soccer is about the kids, so we are here to help anyway we can. Please feel free to contact us!
